Dance or Danse?

I do realise that this work is totally NOT like my usual works...
It's just an idea that hit me one night when I was out with friends and that couple was dancing...
I guess I had too much to drink that night too, cos who would be out with his friends, with loud music, and people dancing, and he'd be thinking about why we write dance in english yet danse in french?
anyway...
just thought I'd share it
